Job summary

GPAC partners with a premier meat processing organization in Western Ohio seeking a 1st Shift Wastewater Technician. This modern facility offers stability, top-tier compensation, and real career growth.

You will operate and maintain wastewater equipment, collect samples, calibrate probes, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining detailed logs. Relocation and a robust benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of industrial wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Valid Wastewater Certification preferred.
• Experience with chemical dosing, pH monitoring, and pump troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment (pumps, valves, filters, etc.).
• Perform daily inspections of the wastewater system and record operational data.
• Collect water and sludge samples for laboratory testing and adjust chemical treatment (pH levels, chemical dosing) as necessary.
• Perform probe calibrations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on pumps and treatment systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs, operational records, and compliance reports.
• Follow all company safety protocols, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
