Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Operator to manage daily pretreatment operations, monitor equipment, collect samples, and report data. You will work with maintenance and environmental teams to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate KPI records. A strong emphasis on safety and documentation is required.

Requires 3–5 years in municipal or industrial wastewater, and a High School Diploma or GED. Position is on-site and may include extended hours to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in municipal and/or industrial wastewater.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of chemical safety practices and process monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the wastewater pretreatment system and related equipment.
• Collect samples, run tests, and record data for KPI reporting.
• Coordinate with maintenance and regulatory teams to address issues.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal discharge permits.
• Maintain accurate operations logs and lab records.
• Assist in safety reporting and monthly safety deliverables.
