Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to support delivery, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of wastewater MBR systems. You will read mechanical, civil, schematic drawings and coordinate field activities with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities emphasize troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, plus documenting service activities and contributing to product improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical services experience, or 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Technical background in equipment maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing).
• Experience troubleshooting water or wastewater plant issues involving mechanical, biological, electronic, or control systems.
• Familiarity with control systems such as Allen Bradley and with control panels or PLC programming.
• Experience with manufacturing, fabrication, field erection methods, or inspection coordination.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater plant technology, civil systems, utilities, or sitework.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Raken, and Microsoft Office.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• MBR technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of wastewater MBR systems and equipment.
• Work closely with contractors, customers, and internal teams to keep modular wastewater treatment solutions moving forward on schedule.
• Troubleshoot field issues involving mechanical, biological, electrical, electronic, equipment, and controls-related systems.
• Help resolve customer issues quickly and effectively while providing strong technical and customer support.
• Read and interpret mechanical, civil, schematic, and technical drawings to support installation, verification, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate field work, site logistics, inspection activities, safety expectations, and utility installation support as needed.
• Document service activities, field work, and support provided.
• Contribute ideas and field feedback that support product development, customer support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
