Job summary

Kubota Water and Environment USA is seeking an Application Engineer to support the design, development, and proposal of advanced wastewater treatment solutions using Kubota’s Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology. This role focuses on pre-sales engineering, process design, cost estimation, and proposal development for municipal and industrial projects.

Reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, you will create system designs, technical and commercial proposals, and provide engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of two years of wastewater treatment process engineering experience.
Experience with BioWin, AutoCAD, MS Office; strong office software skills preferred.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Develop MBR system designs including biological treatment, equipment sizing, and membrane treatment.
Prepare budgetary and firm-price proposals for MBR systems based on bid specs.
Coordinate with AE Manager and Regional Sales Managers to prioritize projects.
Create P&IDs, layout drawings, and technical documents for stakeholders.
Engage with vendors, engineers, operators, and owners to develop designs and docs.
Attend client meetings, conferences, and trade shows to support business development.
Travel up to 10% as needed.
