Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Georgia is seeking a Waste Water Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and wastewater equipment at a high-speed processing facility, performing preventive maintenance and ensuring safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, documenting procedures, and adhering to discharge permits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders and air compressors (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and repair conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems as assigned
• Preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery quickly and effectively
• Maintain wastewater equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
• Complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Document and maintain SOPs for site-specific technologies at the facility
• Maintain compliance with discharge permit
• Communicate with wastewater management to diagnose problems
