Job summary

Wayne Farms in Georgia is hiring a maintenance technician focused on quality control of biological wastewater systems to ensure compliance with State EPD and NCC Animal Welfare guidelines. You will perform preventative maintenance, monitor pumps, motors, and electrical components, and carry out routine tasks while following safety policies.

The role requires at least 3 years of industrial wastewater experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial/commercial wastewater treatment facility.
Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in production environment.
Basic math and computer skills required.
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.
Strong work ethic and honesty.

Responsibilities

Monitor mechanical wastewater system equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
Measure and report wastewater chemical levels and variances.
Operate pumps, dewatering equipment, compressors, and chemical feed systems.
Maintain clean and safe work areas and tools.
Comply with company policies, welfare guidelines, and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
