Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Waste Water Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on wastewater equipment, conveyors, and packaging machinery. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, and adherence to strict safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, and documenting SOPs for site-specific technologies.

Qualifications

1-2 years industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends).
Knowledge of welding (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform building maintenance and repair conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulics as assigned.
Preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot machinery quickly and effectively.
Maintain wastewater equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps.
Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Record and follow site SOPs for technologies in use at the facility.
Maintain compliance with discharge permits and inspect equipment regularly.
