Job summary

Pasco County is seeking a Wastewater Systems Technician III to install, maintain and repair the county's wastewater collection and transmission systems. The role includes on-call duty on a rotating basis and responding to emergencies to minimize service interruptions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of progressively responsible utility construction/maintenance experience.
• Valid Florida Class B driver's license with tanker endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair wastewater collection/transmission systems.
• Assist with operation of lift stations and plant facilities.
• Respond to service requests and emergency callouts to minimize interruptions.
• Complete daily work orders and maintain records using mobile devices.
• Operate equipment and vehicles as needed; lift up to 100 lbs.
