Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus maintenance coursework.
• One year of experience with pumps, motors, and electrical equipment in industrial settings.
• Valid Florida driver’s license upon offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced maintenance tasks on the county wastewater system, including lift stations and lines.
• Monitors operation of motors, pumps, and related lift station equipment; performs repairs as needed.
• Maintains records of work performed and ensures safety precautions are followed.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Transports, hooks up and operates mobile generators during power outages.
