City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania is seeking skilled workers for construction, maintenance and repair of the Wastewater Collection System. The role involves operating heavy equipment, CCTV inspection, trench safety, and supervising staff under the Labor Supervisor.

Mandatory high school diploma or GED and 5 years’ field experience in pipes, culverts, masonry and related tasks. Applicants must hold a PA driver’s license; Class B CDL with tanker endorsement is required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing the described work, including carpentry, concrete/masonry, and pipe or culvert installation/repair.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble pipe and operate heavy equipment for wastewater collection system work.
• Safely perform trenching and excavation activities and supervise field staff under the Labor Supervisor.
• Enter confined spaces safely and ensure compliance with safety SOPs and regulations.
• Construct and repair wastewater components using carpentry and masonry skills; lay bricks/concrete as needed.
• Inspect, maintain and replace pipes and appurtenances; operate and supervise shoring equipment when required.
