Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1+ year as Wastewater & Recycling Technician I or 3+ years technical experience OR
• Associates degree with 1 year as Technician I or 2 years technical experience OR
• Bachelors degree with 0–2 years in operations/technical setting

Responsibilities

• Develop operational understanding of recycling and water treatment systems.
• Ensure processes run on target as per process plan.
• Collect data and adjust control parameters as needed.
• Respond to alarms and analyze trends to restore control.
• Troubleshoot and solve day-to-day process/equipment issues.
• Participate in planned experiments and report results.
• Perform standard tests to ensure proper operation.
• Interface with internal associates and suppliers as required.
• Maintain records using databases and spreadsheets.
• Operate equipment including pumps and PLC-controlled devices.
• Train associates as needed and ensure safe operations.
