Job summary

SEH is seeking a Wastewater Project Engineer / Client Development to join our Water/Wastewater team. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to design wastewater treatment and conveyance solutions and help strengthen client relationships.

As an employee‑owned firm, SEH emphasizes respect, accountability, and growth through education and licensure. The position is based in Fort Wayne, IN, with relocation possible and a base salary of $110,000–$125,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative solutions for wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and technical professionals.
• Partner with experienced project managers to strengthen client relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and applicable regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
• Familiarity with regional wastewater issues and municipal government clients.
• Experience with multi‑discipline infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality results.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $110,000 and $125,000 based on skill set and experience.
