Job summary

SEH is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Professional Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team in Wisconsin or the Chicago area. You will design and deliver innovative wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and project managers.

As a professional engineer licensed in Wisconsin or eligible to obtain WI license within six months, you will guide projects from concept through construction, balance multiple priorities, and contribute to SEH's 100%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater projects.
• Professional Engineer license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain WI license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team solving complex water and wastewater challenges.
• Design and deliver innovative wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers, designers, and professionals.
• Partner with project managers to strengthen client relationships and ensure project success.
• Aim to be a technical expert in Wastewater Treatment and grow into client-facing project leadership.

This Opportunity

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and applicable regulations.
• Professional Engineer within the state of Wisconsin or ability to obtain WI license within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
• Familiarity with regional wastewater issues and municipal government clients.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Previous Project Management Experience
