Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of HVAC principles and electrical/mechanical equipment used at a utility plant.
• Experience with CMMS maintenance systems and safety practices.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and maps; operate tools safely.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks, forklifts, and cranes; troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance in multiple areas, including mechanical and building/p grounds tasks.
• Provide lead worker duties over helpers and seasonal staff; generate reports and maintain records.
• Conduct safety inspections of vehicles, equipment, and work areas; enforce safety procedures.
• Order supplies, oversee contractors, and interact with citizens as needed; troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to routine and emergency maintenance tasks at wastewater facilities and pumping stations.
