Job summary

WesTech Engineering, LLC. in Mont Belvieu, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Water/Wastewater Operations Technician to manage daily treatment plant operations, calibration, sampling, and safety procedures.

You will monitor processes, maintain logs, operate pumps and instrumentation, and collaborate with a team to ensure compliance and optimal performance. Some shifts require extended hours and adherence to PPE and site safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years water/wastewater experience.
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and rotate schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct water sample testing to monitor plant performance.
• Calibrates equipment and maintains accurate records.
• Diagnoses and repairs pumps and valves.
• Monitor and adjust treatment processes for pH, turbidity, and chemical dosages.
• Prioritize safety and use PPE.
