Veolia in North America seeks an experienced Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee daily staff and shift operations at a NY-based facility. The role entails troubleshooting, coordinating with engineering, and maintaining compliance with environmental and safety rules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in plant operations, a NYS 3A wastewater certification, and strong data interpretation, process control, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• NY 3A wastewater certification or ability to be delegated as Operator in charge.
• 5+ years of plant operations experience.
• Experience with maintenance contracts and water/wastewater environments.
• Strong data interpretation and process control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of department staff and shift operations.
• Coordinate projects with Engineering and contractors.
• Lead shift crews to monitor plant operations and alarms.
• Maintain logs, prepare reports, and ensure safety/compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and manage staffing levels.
