Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Plant Shift Supervisor to provide day-to-day oversight of department staff, manage shift operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and generate work orders while ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory EH&S rules.

You will lead a team of operators, coordinate with Engineering and contractors, and maintain accurate operation records, process control data, and safety protocols across a wastewater treatment facility in New York.

Qualifications

• Strong process control knowledge is a must.
• Excellent reading, math, writing, scientific, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of plant staff and shift workers.
• Coordinate projects with Engineering and contractors.
• Lead shift crews and monitor plant operations and data.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety rules.
• Maintain process data and prepare operation reports.
