Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED, plus two years of post-secondary college or technical training in biology, environmental science, chemistry or related field.
• At least four years' experience in a Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair wastewater processing equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and record data; collect samples and perform tests as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on plant and lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements; respond to system failures or problems.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities and test results.
