Job summary

Wwoap is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator to oversee the operations and maintenance of the Quincy Township Wastewater Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate must possess a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Operators Certificate and a Class C, E, or higher license.

Responsibilities include laboratory testing, record-keeping, preparing eDMR reports, and supervising maintenance activities. Candidates should have experience in equipment repair and possess strong knowledge of sewer plant operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Operators Certificate.
• Knowledge of sewer plant operations and control.
• Ability to demonstrate skills in equipment repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of the Quincy Township Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Perform and supervise laboratory sampling and testing.
• Maintain records of operations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Prepare and submit monthly eDMR reports.
• Supervise maintenance of facilities and grounds.
• Schedule and perform grease trap inspections.
