Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a wastewater operator to monitor and control treatment processes in a demanding industrial setting. You will operate plant equipment, record readings, collect samples, and prepare daily reports.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment adjustments, and adherence to safety protocols. A Wisconsin DNR wastewater license is required within one year, along with a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience operating or maintaining wastewater treatment equipment.
• Knowledge of process control, lab sampling, and meter readings.
• Ability to read dials, meters, and gauges; willingness to wear SCBA.
• Wisconsin DNR Wastewater Operator License required; license subclass within one year; valid WI driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned plant processes and treatment equipment; start/stop semi-automatic controls.
• Record and interpret meter readings; take samples for lab analysis; generate daily shift reports.
• Troubleshoot equipment, refer maintenance needs, and perform other duties as assigned.
