Wind River Environmental is seeking a Plant Operator II to manage sewage, FOG, and sludge treatment in our Massachusetts wastewater facility. You will operate headworks, chemical addition, filtering, sludge processing and ensure compliant effluent quality.

The role is 2nd shift (3 PM – 11:30 PM). Responsibilities include laboratory tests (TSS, COD, pH), logging operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all federal, state, and local requirements are met. CDL not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and physical examination.
• Strong mechanical and process background with pumps, valves, blowers, and hydraulics.
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Operate wastewater, sludge, and FOG treatment systems.
• Monitor control panels and adjust operations.
• Perform routine laboratory tests (TSS, COD, pH).
• Maintain operational logs and compliance records.
• Identify equipment/process issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Order chemicals and complete monthly operational reporting.
• Ensure plant operations meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Maintain the plant log of operations and events.
