Ken’s Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Operator for our Marlborough, MA facility. The role focuses on operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

You will collect samples, test water, and keep precise records while supporting inspections and audits. The position requires a Massachusetts Class V Wastewater Treatment License, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a boiler operator license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus related wastewater treatment experience or training
• Massachusetts Class V Wastewater Treatment License required
• Ability to obtain a boiler operator license and maintain regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and related systems to support safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
• Collect samples, perform water testing, maintain daily records, and support inspections and audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment and complete minor repairs to pumps, valves, instruments, and other plant components.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, prepare work orders, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Monitor aeration, gas compression, centrifuge, scrubber, glycol trap, and related equipment.
• Identify process improvements, support spill recovery and cleanup, and maintain a clean facility.
• Participate in remote monitoring, on-call coverage, and after-hours response when action is required.
