Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking a wastewater/disposal technician to handle acceptance of sewage and FOG waste and maintain logs and equipment at a processing plant. The role involves operating headworks machinery, performing sampling, and ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks.

The position is paid hourly with a posted base pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Final compensation depends on location, education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Disposal acceptance of sewage and FOG waste and maintain equipment, disposal and operation logs.
• Operate equipment at the plant (receiving, headworks) and conduct sampling/tests as required.
• Maintain detailed operational logs and monitor equipment for potential failures.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs; calibrate and document process instrumentation.
• Unload tractor trailers and pump trucks, collect samples, and process disposal tickets.
• Ensure safety and compliance in daily tasks.
