Job summary

Strong recordkeeping and regulatory reporting are essential. Qualified candidates will hold a Class II Wastewater Operator Certificate and a valid Ohio CDL with tanker/air brake endorsements or the ability to obtain them within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education and three (3) years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience.
• Possession of a Class II Wastewater Operator Certificate from Ohio EPA.
• Valid Ohio CDL license with the ability to obtain tanker and air brake endorsement within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages treatment plant operations from intakes to final outfalls; adjusts plant operation based on readings and lab results.
• Collects samples and conducts laboratory analyses; maintains records and prepares required reports.
• Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance; maintains cleanliness of facilities and grounds.
