Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a wastewater operations technician to manage daily operation and maintenance of the Town of Jaffrey facility. You will perform lab analyses, monitor equipment, and ensure effluent quality per permit requirements.

The role includes routine testing, calibration, repairs, and on-call coverage in varied weather. Requires NH Grade 1 license and High School diploma, with mechanical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to operate wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine wastewater testing and record results.
• Maintain facility and equipment; report needed repairs.
• Perform pump station checks and repairs as needed.
• Monitor instrumentation, calibrate analyzers, and support process control.
• Handle housekeeping and on-site safety duties as required.
