Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a wastewater plant operator for the Town of Jaffrey, NH. You will run daily operations of a 1.25 MGD facility, monitor pumps, perform lab tests, and ensure compliance with permits. A NH Grade 1 certification and a valid NH driver’s license are required, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NH Grade 1 wastewater certification required.
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine testing of wastewater and maintain the plant logbook.
• Maintain treatment components, pumps and screening equipment; report needed repairs.
• Perform pump station checks and repairs as required.
• Monitor charts, gauges and analyzers; calibrate per permit requirements.
• Calculate chemical feed rates and adjust treatment to meet effluent standards.
• Housekeeping and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Rotate on-call coverage and respond to alarms.
