Job summary

Veolia NA is seeking an operator to manage daily operation and maintenance of a 1.25 MGD advanced wastewater treatment facility and related pumps and collection systems in Jaffrey, NH. The role includes lab analysis, logbook entries, and ensuring compliance with permit requirements.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, NH Grade 1 wastewater certification, and a valid NH driver’s license; technical/mechanical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical and mechanical work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine testing of wastewater and records results.
• Maintains facility and equipment, reports needed repairs.
• Performs routine pump station checks and repairs.
• Monitors instrumentation and calibrates analyzers.
• Calculates chemical feed rates and adjusts treatments to meet effluent quality.
