The City of Baltimore is seeking a WasteWater Plant Operations Supervisor to manage the daily operation and maintenance of the municipal wastewater treatment plant and to guide a team of technicians and support staff. Formación

• Education: An associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Four years of experience in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant including one year of supervisory responsibilities.
• Equivalency: One year of additional experience may substitute for each year of college.
• Licenses: A valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver’s license or an equivalent driver’s license and eligible to obtain a Baltimore City driver’s permit.
• Certification: Employees must hold and maintain a Maryland Operator’s certificate issued by the Board of Water Works and Waste Systems Operators.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and coordinates the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
• Directs the activities of wastewater operations technicians and office support staff.
• On occasion, work involves exposure to toxic chemicals and noxious odors and requires ability to work flexible hours including on-call status.
