The City of Baltimore is seeking a WasteWater Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the operation and maintenance of the city’s wastewater treatment facility. You will participate in the overall planning and direction of plant activities and supervise operations staff.

Incumbents work a conventional schedule but are subject to 24-hour call, with exposure to chemicals and odors in the plant. A valid Maryland Class C license is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: Have an associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Four years in operation of a wastewater treatment plant including supervisory responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
• Direct wastewater operations technicians and office support staff.
• Participate in planning and direction of plant activities.
