Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Lead Operator who will assist in the daily operation and maintenance of a wastewater system. You will ensure QA/QC, safety, environmental compliance and performance metrics are met, while maintaining client relations and coordinating with the Project Leader.

The role requires 3–5 years of lead/supervisory experience in related settings, strong leadership, HR awareness, and proficiency with SCADA and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years lead or supervisory experience in a related environment.
• Strong leadership and HR-related skills.
• Experience with wastewater operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Leader in daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater system.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, safety, environmental and performance metrics.
• Maintain client relations and assist with meetings and reporting.
• Develop and implement site objectives and improvement plans.
• Respond to SCADA alarms after hours as needed.
