Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a capable lead operator for wastewater system management in Massachusetts. You will assist the Project Leader in daily operations, ensuring safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance, while maintaining regulatory reporting and client communications.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with maintenance teams, and implementing improvements to meet performance targets. After-hours SCADA responses and site upkeep are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years progressive lead and/or supervisory experience in a related environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Leader in daily operation and maintenance of a wastewater system.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and QA/QC metrics.
• Maintain records and generate regulatory reports.
• Support client meetings and issue resolution.
• Develop site objectives and implement process improvements.
• Respond to SCADA alarms after hours.
• Perform pump station inspections and maintenance.
