City of Richland is seeking a full-time Treatment Plant Mechanic in Richland, WA to perform skilled maintenance on the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations and related facilities. The role includes after-hours standby and a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule.

Required qualifications include a two-year degree or equivalent, extensive mechanical experience, and licenses/certs such as a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and NCCCO TSS certification. Background check and DOT screening apply.

Qualifikationen

• Two year college degree or equivalent trade school cert required.
• Six years of mechanical installation, repair and maintenance experience.
• CDL with tanker endorsement within two years is required. NCCCO TSS certs within 18 months.

Aufgaben

• Perform highly skilled work toward construction, maintenance and repair of the wastewater plant, lift stations and related facilities.
• Work with various crafts under supervision to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Weekend/after-hours standby as needed.

Ausbildung

Two year college degree in industrial mechanics or related field

Six years of mechanical installation, removal, repair and maintenance experience

Valid driver's license

Ability to obtain Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within two years

NCCCO Telescopic Boom Cranes – Fixed Cab Operator certification within 18 months

Signal Person and Rigger Certification within 18 months
