Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a water or wastewater plant.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems (including Gorman Pumps).
Plumbing and electrical experience required; PLC familiarity is a plus.
Welding, HVAC, and wastewater systems experience are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and complete assignments without supervision.
Experience troubleshooting pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment.
HVAC and Boiler certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair equipment: Gorman‑Rupp pumps, electric Grundfos pumps, diaphragm pumps, air compressors, motors, VFDs, and other plant equipment.
Support plant operations with optimized, safe, and efficient systems.
Follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and comply with regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues to keep equipment running.
Perform plumbing and electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on plant equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
