Perdue Farms is seeking a Wastewater Operator to support water treatment operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate treatment systems, monitor performance, test samples, and aid in preventive maintenance to ensure safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with the operations team to sustain reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to fulfill water and wastewater operation requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines established by agencies and company policies.
• Collect water and wastewater samples per QA programs and regulations.
• Test samples and adjust equipment/chemical flow rates for water quality.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain records and provide direction to lower-level operators and technicians.
