Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment systems.
• Experience with lab sampling and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wastewater plant operations and adjust processes to meet permit requirements.
• Coordinate sampling operations to balance treatment steps and comply with permits.
• Collect wastewater compliance samples for analysis.
• Ensure proper laboratory testing protocols are followed by staff.
• Prepare and submit environmental reporting and permit renewals; interact with regulators as needed.
• Maintain SOPs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Lead communication between plant operations and wastewater treatment.
• Respond to emergencies and assess wastewater treatment impacts.
• Maintain records, logs, and routine reports.
