Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a dependable Wastewater Offal Operator to support critical wastewater and offal processes in a fast-paced plant. You will operate and maintain equipment, help prevent spills, and ensure by-product materials are handled smoothly to keep the facility running cleanly, safely, and efficiently.

The role follows a Sunday through Friday schedule from 11:30pm to 7:00am, with responsibilities including routine maintenance, equipment lubrication, and coordination with drivers for

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean shakers and tumblers by spraying a high-pressure hose (240 psi) on the shaker every 15 minutes and the tumbler once an hour.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and equipment lubrication by checking oil levels and belts as needed.
• Transfer blood onto tankers by taking a 6' hose 4" in diameter and placing it into blood tank, open wheel valve and visually monitor levels.
• Cover loads prior to removal from work area.
• Obtain ladder and by turning crank clockwise to extend canvas cover.
• Notify drivers by phone when bi-product loads are full and need to be removed.
