Job summary

Tyson is seeking a candidate for a 3rd shift wastewater technician. Responsibilities include operating wastewater treatment systems, collecting samples, performing analyses, and maintaining logs. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of wastewater experience.

Starting pay is $25.10 per hour plus a $2.00 night shift premium and a $2.00 per hour bonus for perfect attendance. Physical ability for lift and hazardous conditions is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years wastewater experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical.
• Must complete storm water training within 30 days and Industrial Waste Treatment courses within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment and related systems.
• Collect samples and perform chemical analyses.
• Maintain operation logs and prepare monthly reports.
• Report operational status to management.
