Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain water and wastewater systems supporting plant operations and environmental compliance. You will perform laboratory analyses, adjust treatment processes, and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

This hands-on role requires lifting 50–75 pounds, basic mechanical and electrical wiring skills, and the ability to work 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years wastewater experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Basic organizational, mechanical and electrical wiring skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment systems and related equipment.
• Perform laboratory analyses and interpret test results for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs and prepare reports for permits and management.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Communicate system performance and needs to management.
• Operate spotter truck and forklift as needed.
• Support groundskeeping and general housekeeping.
