Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a wastewater operator for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain the facility's wastewater system, ensuring effluent limits are met and safety rules are followed.

You will monitor flow, take samples, perform tests, and file accurate lab data while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Experience in wastewater maintenance and strict documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and complete Tyson documentation.
• Must have 3 months plant seniority and less than 5 attendance points.
• Minimum 6 months wastewater technical or industrial maintenance experience.
• Must have 3 months operator experience within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater systems daily and monitor flow.
• Fill chemical tanks and adjust dosage to meet results.
• Take samples, perform tests, and file lab data.
• Maintain compliance with ADEM/EPA requirements.
• Follow Lock out/Tag out and wear PPE; complete computerized reports.
