Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator II to operate and maintain equipment at small to medium water/wastewater facilities in Edmond, OK. Oklahoma C or D Wastewater License is preferred.

The role covers testing, documentation, and response to emergencies while ensuring safety and compliance. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of wastewater experience, basic MS Office skills, and ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years water/wastewater experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater operations and electrical components.
• Clear and professional communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, motors and disinfection systems.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of facilities.
• Documents plant performance, flow, and chemical usage.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Provides customer service when needed and communicates with clients.
• Keeps facilities secure and maintains grounds as required.
• May coordinate maintenance activities at the facility.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and on-call hours.
