Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator II to operate a variety of treatment equipment and monitor processes at a facility in Florida. You will document plant performance, assist with basic laboratory tasks, and respond to after-hours calls as needed, ensuring safe and compliant operation.

The role requires attention to detail, strong safety practices, and the ability to work in a team environment across multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of process control techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow manuals and operating instructions.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings and 24-hour on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment and vehicles.
• Performs routine testing and monitoring of water/wastewater units and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance including daily flow, chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and emergencies to repair equipment and systems.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and provides customer service when needed.
