Job summary

SolveNow Inc. in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a maintenance technician to support plant operations and equipment care. You will participate in the maintenance of pumps, valves, and treatment facilities, ensuring proper flow and processing of water and wastewater.

The role includes monitoring gauges, collecting samples, performing basic lab tests, and maintaining records. CDL or wastewater certification can boost pay; this is a temp-to-hire position with on-site work in Idaho.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0 Valid driver's license is required.
• Preferred candidates may have CDL or wastewater certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment and performs plant servicing as part of maintenance.
• Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge, and effluent.
• Starts and stops pumps, engines and generators; operates valves and gates.
• Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels; records readings.
• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses.
• Performs routine maintenance and custodial duties.
• Follows oral and written directions and works cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learns and gains skills involving the maintenance of equipment and servicing work in the plant Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge, and effluent Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control, and starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control and adjust flow and treatment processes. Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels Observes and reports abnormalities to supervisor Maintains shift log and records meter and gauge readings Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties Understands and carries out oral and written directions Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work Performs other duties as required
