The Village of Ruidoso seeks a Wastewater Treatment Director to manage regional wastewater operations, oversee an MBR process and capital projects, and ensure compliance with NPDES and environmental requirements. The role centers on planning, supervising, and coordinating daily plant activities for the Village and its contract with the City of Ruidoso Downs.

This position requires a strong engineering or science background, 3+ years supervisory experience in wastewater treatment, and NM Level IV

• Minimum qualifications include a engineering or related degree and supervisory wastewater treatment experience.
• NM Level IV Wastewater Certification is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to develop budgets and administer programs and resources.

Responsabilidades

• Manages all plant processes including headworks, MBR, solids handling, and UV sterilization.
• Plans, manages, schedules, and oversees capital improvement projects.
• Writes and processes RFPs, bids, contracts, and grant applications.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for council and management.
• Represents the Village with state and federal agencies as needed.
