Job summary

City of Corpus Christi seeks a senior supervisor in its Wastewater Treatment Division to oversee project management, planning, contract development, and maintenance and repair activities. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and may assume their duties during absence.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary crews, support budgeting, procurement, and asset management in Maximo, while ensuring compliance with EPA, TCEQ, AWWA, and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of wastewater lift stations and treatment plants ensuring compliance with EPA, TCEQ, AWWA and related laws.
• Prepare records, reports and documentation for regulatory requests, inspections and permits.
• Develop and manage operating budgets for wastewater facilities and coordinate procurement.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise multi‑skilled staff and contractors.
• Maintain asset inventories and Maximo-based maintenance programs.
