Job summary

The City of Chino Hills is seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Worker I/II to join our Public Works Wastewater Division. You’ll help maintain the City’s wastewater collection systems, sewer lines, and storm drains, operating equipment including Vactor trucks and troubleshooting issues to keep services reliable for residents.

This full-time role offers a 9/80 schedule with excellent benefits and opportunities for additional certification pay, plus experience in wastewater or storm

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater maintenance or storm drain maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the City’s wastewater collection systems, sewer lines, and storm drains.
• Operate specialized equipment, including Vactor trucks.
• Troubleshoot system issues and help ensure reliable services for the community.
