Job summary

The City of Chino is hiring a full-time Wastewater and Storm Operations Supervisor to lead and manage wastewater collection and stormwater maintenance programs. You will oversee compliance with CIWQS/SSO, NPDES, MS4, and SSMP requirements while coordinating field operations, staffing, and safety.

Preferred candidates have strong supervisory experience, knowledge of wastewater and stormwater operations, and the ability to respond to emergencies and coordinate with regulators and city departments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wastewater and stormwater operations, maintenance, and safety.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Familiarity with NPDES, MS4, SWECB requirements and related permits.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and review wastewater collection and stormwater maintenance, inspection, repair, and operations.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and reporting, including CIWQS/SSO and SSMP implementation.
• Coordinate field operations, emergency response, and performance management.
