Freshpet in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Supervisor - Utility and Wastewater (Maintenance) to lead a team operating and maintaining the WWTP system. The role focuses on motors, pumps, aerators, filters, and related equipment to control wastewater flow and treatment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will develop SOPs, supervise maintenance, train staff, and coordinate with regulators and third‑party providers while driving continuous improvement and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in operation and maintenance of water/wastewater systems, with some supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CMMS and BMS systems preferred; ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to perform basic data analysis and use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team operating WWTP equipment and processes, including pumps, aerators, and filtration.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with third‑party providers and regulatory agencies.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and plant testing; prepare reports.
