Job summary

The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to plan and schedule work for the Wastewater Collection Lift Station group using CMMS, improving efficiency, quality, and productivity. The role involves developing safe work control plans and monitoring CMMS performance to ensure standardized usage.

Ideal candidates will have CMMS experience, strong planning skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple trades while supporting environmental compliance

Qualifications

• Three years of skilled trades experience in electrical, HVAC, or water/wastewater operations with CMMS proficiency.
• Possession of Grade I Wastewater Collections ADEQ certification by end of probation.
• Background check and valid driver's license required.
• Experience with CMMS dashboards and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work, processes, and materials using CMMS.
• Lead in developing safe, effective work control plans.
• Monitor CMMS performance and adjust usage for consistency.
• Coordinate with Lift Station Operations & Maintenance staff and supervise maintenance planning activities.
• Support planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting including CMMS dashboards.
