Job summary

City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department seeks a Utilities Maintenance Planner Senior Specialist to oversee maintenance planning, schedules, and contractor coordination. The role uses EAM/CMMS to maximize equipment uptime and reliability, while preparing reports and coordinating with vendors.

The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service, teamwork and collaboration, plus a 5-year background in industrial maintenance with CMMS/EAM experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Water or Wastewater Treatment, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in industrial/mechanical maintenance including EAMs or CMMS experience.
• CMRP Certification within 1 year of hire or promotion.
• Maintenance Management Certification (LCE) or equivalent within 2 years of hire or promotion.
• A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of maintenance management and contract administration services for various maintenance projects, including managing schedules and budgets, coordinating contractor work, and processing invoices.
• Use Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan, schedule, and coordinate material, equipment, and personnel requirements for complex activities and work orders to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Prepare reports and maintenance schedules, and work with vendors.
