Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Maintenance Planner in Oklahoma City, OK. You will plan and schedule work for water and wastewater facilities using CMMS, coordinating with technicians, electricians, and vendors to optimize uptime and safety.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, CMMS experience, and a valid driver’s license. CMMS software knowledge and possible certifications are preferred. This on-site position involves travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• At least three combined years in a maintenance related field as a technician, planner, and/or management.
• At least two years’ experience in the use of a CMMS, EAMS and/or planning/scheduling software program.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license with no major infractions.
• Ideally you have a High School Diploma.
• CMRP or CRL certification or the ability to obtain certification within 18 months of hire date.
• Experience with Maintenance Connection Software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities by balancing work orders, labor availability, skill sets, and operational requirements.
• Develop detailed work plans identifying labor, materials, tools, equipment, and resources for routine maintenance, capital projects, plant improvements, and shutdowns.
• Manage and maintain CMMS/work order data, backlog, scheduling, requisitions, and reporting for accurate work execution and cost allocation.
• Coordinate with operations, project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support maintenance strategies and parts management.
• Develop, implement, and improve maintenance strategies, SOPs, contingency plans, and process improvements.
• Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics, prepare recommendations and reports, provide technical guidance.
• Any other duties as assigned.
